Watch the Occupationizing going on in DC’s McPherson Square right now

A few of my fellow Daily Caller fascists and I stopped by the park around noon, which was the deadline the National Park Service gave for the Occupiers to clear out. I stuck around for about half an hour and no riot broke out, but I did get to see them put up a big blue tarp over the statue of Union General James B. McPherson. It’s got moons and stars painted on it and it says “Tent of Dreams.” This is a good idea because it proves… um… Well anyway, I’m sure McPherson would’ve wanted it this way! Finally, his life and death have some meaning.

Here’s a livecam from somebody or other inside the “Tent of Dreams.” Keep in mind that these young truth-to-power-speakers are very fond of rude language, but at least they don’t have any original ideas:

It’s like Woodstock, except you can experience the filth, stupidity, and boredom in real time.

Update: Looks like the cops are starting to make their presence known. A few of the Occupiers are berating them, but they’re not responding. I particularly enjoyed this exchange:

Older Occupier to cops: “Do you understand that people are ready to die for this?”
Younger Occupier to older Occupier: “Peacefully!”

Update: Occupy DC really is beyond parody.
