Advertisers pulled out all the stops for this year’s Super Bowl, shelling out $3.5 million for 30-second spots that would air in front of 100 million viewers.

Matthew Broderick resurrected Ferris Bueller for Honda, Jerry Seinfeld brought back the Soup Nazi and found a foe in Jay Leno for Acura.

Will Ferrell walked through a field for Old Milwaukee. And it only aired in Nebraska. North Platte, Neb., to be exact.

The 45-second commercial features the comedian walking in a field towards the camera in gym shorts and a T-shirt. Just as he is tossed a can of Old Milwaukee and starts to speak, the local TV station interjects.

Old Milwaukee clearly doesn’t have Bud Light’s budget.

This is the fourth spot Ferrell has done for the beer company, and the others are just as delightfully quirky.
