Rocker Bruce Springsteen tweeted Wednesday about his concern for missing Boston College student Franco Garcia.

“Help find Boston College student Franco Garcia. Last seen 2/22/12 in Brighton, MA. Call 617-796-2100 with any info,” his Tweet read.

Garcia, 21, is an evening student majoring in chemistry.

Officials and family members said that Garcia was last seen at 12:30 a.m. at Mary Ann’s, a bar in Brighton, Mass., nearby the BC campus.

The missing persons advertisement said that he has not shown up for class or to his job since Feb. 22.

Springsteen’s son, Evan, is currently a senior at BC.

Green Bay Packers defensive lineman and BC graduate BJ Raji also tweeted about Garcia: “Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Franco Garcia a Boston College senior who has been missing for over a week.”

Police Spokesman David Procopio said that divers have been in the Chestnut Hill Reservoir for three days searching and will continue on Friday for a final search.

“It remains a missing persons case,’’ Procopio said. “There is no evidence to indicate foul play, but foul play has not been ruled out.’’
