Former presidential candidate Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman told The Daily Caller that after Mitt Romney‘s victories in the Maryland, D.C. and Wisconsin primaries Tuesday night, the race for the Republican nomination is all but over.

“Well it looks increasingly like we have a nominee in the Republican party. I think that’s becoming increasingly evident” said Huntsman. (RELATED: Full coverage of the Romney campaign)

He added that the challenge now “will be how do you reach out and draw in the independents. … I think that’s ultimately where the election is going to be won or lost.”
