1.) Does Obama like his dog rare or well done? — While some are in a tizzy over the fact that Mitt Romney transported his dog to a family vacation on the top of the family car back in the 1980s, TheDC’s Jim Treacher points out that President Obama has eaten dog, according to his own account in his memoir:

“Say what you want about Romney, but at least he only put a dog on the roof of his car, not the roof of his mouth … I know the Secret Service has a lot to deal with right now, but are they protecting Bo? From Obama, I mean.”

Paging the humane society.

2.) The friend of my enemy is my enemy —  Iran provides the best case for why the West should back the rebels in Syria: Iran has a vested interest in the Syrian government’s success. Since the United States has an interest in seeing Iran weaken and its nuclear program fall, that alone seems like a pretty good reason to oppose Bashar al-Assad’s brutal regime. Reza  Kahlili reports for TheDC:

According to the Fars News Agency, Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei delivered a warning recently during his recent meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. ‘The Islamic Republic will defend Syria,’ FNA reported that message read, ‘because of its support for the resistance front against the Zionist regime [Israel], and is vehemently opposed to any intervention by foreign forces in Syrian internal affairs.'”

3.) Malcolm Moron — Malcolm X’s grandson isn’t particularly intelligent, TheDC’s Caroline May shows by reporting:

“Slavery is alive and well in America according to Malcolm X’s grandson, El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz … Shabazz added that he believes 9/11 was not done at the hands of Muslims, but rather forces in America. ‘And the people who were involved in 9/11 were agents of the United States, the CIA or whatever other three-letter organizations they have in this country,’ he said.”

The best part of this rant is that it was said on Iranian government television. Perhaps El-Hajj isn’t aware of what life is like in Iran. Or probably anywhere else. After all, how else could one think America is such a horrible place.

4.) Bishop Buffoon President Obama may be many things about President Obama — radical, incompetent, in over his head — but he is not Hitler. Or Stalin. TheDC’s Caroline May reports:

“[Bishop Daniel R.] Jenkey recalled in detail other leaders that have ‘tried to force Christians to huddle and hide,’ including Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. ‘Hitler and Stalin, at their better moments, would just barely tolerate some churches remaining open, but would not tolerate any competition with the state in education, social services and health care,’ he said.’ In clear violation of our First Amendment rights, Barack Obama — with his radical, pro abortion and extreme secularist agenda — now seems intent on following a similar path.’

This is a great lesson on how to lose an argument in two easy steps: compare the American president to Hitler and Stalin.

5.) Poll of the Day: Obama leads Romney in FL — PPP poll of Florida: President Obama 48.3%, Mitt Romney 43.3%.

6.) Tweet of Yesterday Keith UrbahnSome crazy lady is yelling at kids outside the local school because a tennis ball hit her Prius. Can only assume it totaled her car.
