Roughly 200 Occupy Wall Street protesters gathered in New York City on Tuesday for a May Day protest against various organizations and corporations, including Bank of America.
The protesters urged workers to take off and students to skip school to make May 1 “a day without the 99 percent.”
Occupy Wall Street protesters in New York have watched their movement fall on hard times since police evicted them from their camp in Lower Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park on November 15.
The protesters hope that demonstrations scheduled to occur in cities across the world Tuesday will revive the struggling movement.
