Obama challenger leads from behind… bars

A couple of months ago, I was depressed about how far away November is. I dreaded having to put up with election crap for months and months, one endless day after the next. But as it turns out, so far it’s pretty fun!

David Martosko reports:

A 52-year-old felon with a ponytail, a mullet, a 210-month federal prison sentence — and a surprising amount of political experience — gave President Barack Obama a serious fight Tuesday night in West Virginia’s Democratic primary election. With 41 of 55 counties reporting their results, Keith Russell Judd had collected 49,490 votes statewide, or 42.28 percent of the total…

Judd, otherwise known as “prisoner #11593-051″ at the Beaumont Federal Correctional Institution in Texas, is serving time for “mailing a threatening communication with intent to extort money or something of value” in New Mexico. He was arrested in 1995 and convicted in 1999. In 2000 a federal appeals court noted that he had already “filed thirty-six notices of appeal … [and] no less than 180 motions,” all unsuccessfully.

Well, at least he’s done less damage to America than Obama has. And if a statistically significant number of West Virginia Dems prefer him to Obama, so be it.

Here he is, the man who just won at least one delegate at the Democratic National Convention:

From the moment the Obamas moved into the White House, they’ve complained that they feel like prisoners there. Somehow I don’t think this guy would have a gripe.

This will be blamed on racism, of course, just like all of Obama’s other problems. But as Twitchy points out, this has more to do with it:

Oh yeah. The coal industry. Whoops.

Yesterday was a bad day for Obama and the Democrats. Which made it a great day for America.

P.S. To explain Obama’s WV humiliation, Dems accuse their own of racism.
