In keeping with their mission to encourage fans to “See Why It’s Different Out Here,” the LPGA tour is going where no tour has gone before.
Starting Wednesday in the pro-am of the Wegmans LPGA Championship and throughout the second major of the season, scores of players will use their caddies as social media billboards.
Sensing that Twitter provides a growing and direct pathway for fans to connect and engage with LPGA players, the caddie bibs will feature players’ last names and their Twitter handle.
