It seems like someone skipped their hash browns this morning.

Alec Baldwin, ever the cool cucumber, reportedly hit a New York Daily News photographer in the chin as he attempted to get a shot of the actor coming out of the Marriage License Bureau, the Daily News reports.

The “30 Rock” star with the infamous Irish temperament, 54, was apparently in the building to get a marriage license along with his fiance, 27-year-old yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas.

The photographer, Marcus Santos, said that Baldwin came after him. “He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me — one time, right in the chin,” Santos said. “And then he started shoving me, and pushing me. Then he goes the other way.”

But according to Baldwin’s rep, Matthew Hiltzik, the paparazzo is the one at fault.

“As Alec and his fiancée were leaving City Hall, a ‘civilian’ walking in front of Alec positioned himself to obstruct the view of a photographer aggressively trying to shoot the couple,” he said in a statement to The Daily Caller. “The photographer was clearly frustrated, pushed past the bystander and assaulted Alec with his camera. There were no punches thrown, and any subsequent physical contact was simply Alec protecting himself.”

The jury is out on who is at fault, as both Baldwin and the paparazzi have long histories of being pains in the ass.
