Top 10: Dumbest celebrity tattoos [PHOTOS]

Everyone makes their fair share of mistakes, but unfortunately, some of those mistakes turn out to be permanent. Take celebrity tattoos, for instance: They can range from bad to worse — and when they are bad, they are really bad.

From one celeb’s head tattoo to one couple’s doomed matching ink, here are some of the most narcissistic, awful and just plain dumb celebrity tattoos.

And here’s a piece of friendly advice: Don’t tattoo your spouse’s name on your body, even if you are sure it will last forever. Just don’t do it.

  • In the ultimate tattoo faux pas, Angelina Jolie had Billy Bob Thorton's name tattooed next to a dragon. When they split, she realized the depth of her mistake and had both the name and the dragon removed.
  • Jamie Foxx apparently got his head tattooed in celebration of his 40th birthday. Because nothing says "mid-life crises" like fresh ink.
  • Johnny Depp had "Winona Forever" tattooed on his arm when he and Winona Ryder were dating. When it turned out not to last forever, he had it changed to "Wino Forever." Close save there Johnny!
  • We cheated on this one. This guy got a tattoo of Mike Tyson's face, which has a tattoo on it itself.
  • Britney Spears and then-hubby Kevin Federline got matching dice tattoos -- hers pink and his blue. Too bad their color-coordinated ink couldn't make the relationship last.
  • Mark Wahlberg has "Wahlberg" on his shoulder, along with his birthday. As if he could ever forget how cool he is.
  • Brad Pitt has Otzi, Italy's 5,300 year old mummy, on his forearm. Considering how old Pitt's career is getting, maybe they were friends?
  • Megan Fox currently has Marilyn Monroe tattooed on her forearm. She is, however, getting it removed because "[Monroe] was a negative person. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life."
  • Zac Efron has YOLO, short for "you only live once" tattooed on his hand. It's like "carpe diem" but without any sense of nobility or purpose.
  • Steve-O, one of the stuntmen spreading classy comedy through the "Jackass" show and related movies, has his own face tattooed on his back. Like we said, classy.
