Lance Armstrong files suit to block doping charges

Lance Armstrong on Monday filed a lawsuit in federal court in Austin, Tex., seeking to block the United States Anti-Doping Agency from punishing him for doping violations that could strip him of his seven Tour de France titles.

In the filing, he said that the antidoping agency violated his Constitutional and common law due process rights and that it believes it “is above the United States Constitution, above the law, above court review, free from supervision from any person or organization, and even above its own rules.”
