You may have heard about “Dishonorable Disclosures,” a 22-minute film produced by a group of veterans and retired intelligence officers called the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund. The film explains all the military intelligence leaks coming out of the Obama White House and why they’re so harmful to national security. If you haven’t seen it, here it is.
As you might imagine, the Narcissist-in-Chief is not happy about this. Ladies and gentlemen: The Smartest, Most Selfless President Ever.
“I won’t take this film too seriously. I gather that one of the producers is a birther who still doesn’t think I was born in this country. You got, ah, one who was a Republican candidate for office and a proud card-carrying member of the Tea Party. So, ah, yeah this is obviously a partisan film. I’d advise that you talk to General McRaven who is in charge of our Special Ops. I think he has a point of view in terms of how deeply I care about what these folks do each and every day to protect our freedom.”
Well said, Mr. Pres–
Hey, wait. General McRaven? Who’s that? Oh, you mean Admiral McRaven. Well, that’s an easy enough mistake to make. After all, you’re only the President of the United States.
Beyond the ostensible Commander-in-Chief’s ignorance of his own troops, it’s always nice to see his utter contempt for anyone who dares to disagree with him. “You don’t have to pay attention to those guys. Sure, they’re veterans, but they don’t matter, and the lives of their brothers-in-arms don’t matter. Because they’re Republicans. Why, one of them is actually a teabagger!” Obama has never been too keen on trying to persuade people who don’t already agree with him, but now he’s given up even pretending. In his mind, he’s only the president of the people who think he’s great.
Not to mention that he’s lying about the “Birther” thing anyway. Nobody involved with this group is a Birther. The only Birther in this story is… Well, remember this literary bio?
Obama has yet to explain why he lied for years and claimed he was born in Kenya, right up until he decided to run for president. And why should he explain? What’s another falsehood from Obama? He lied about something for over 15 years, and now he turns around and lies about people who he falsely claims believed his original lie, in order to deflect their criticism. It’s beyond Orwellian. Obama’s dishonesty is just an admiral rule.
Whoops. I mean general.
But as always, Obama isn’t talking to you or me. He’s pitching his message to his main constituency: people who are ignorant enough to believe him, no matter how blatant his lies get.
He certainly doesn’t care about the military vote. They’ve served their purpose, and now they’re nothing more to him than a nuisance. As far as he’s concerned, they didn’t sign up to serve their country. They signed up to serve him. And if they don’t think he’s doing a good job, if they have a problem with his decisions, they no longer matter. He can say whatever he wants about them.
He’s the Slanderer-in-Chief.
