Does Obama even realize he’s lying anymore? Has he ever? Can something really be considered a lie, no matter how little resemblance it bears to reality, if the guy saying it isn’t engaged with that reality?
President Barack Obama on Monday said the attack at the U.S. consulate in Libya “wasn’t just a mob action” and admonished people to ignore the anti-Islamic video that has sparked unrest throughout the Middle East.
In an interview taped Monday to air Tuesday “The View,” Mr. Obama said the best way to “marginalize” the inflammatory remarks in the anti-Islamic video is to ignore it. The attack in Libya on Sept. 11 has dogged Mr. Obama. It has raised questions about whether the Obama administration had proper security in place in a country fresh from a revolution, and has become campaign fodder.
Which is why he falsely blamed it on a YouTube video, and falsely said it had nothing to do with America or the man presiding over it. The guy who made the video was dragged out of his home in the middle of the night for questioning. The State Department took out ads on Pakistani TV apologizing for it. This administration has spent two solid weeks disavowing this exercise of free speech. Way to “marginalize” it, President Brainsfordays.
Even the audience of The View can’t be dumb enough to fall for this nonsense, right? Although most of the hosts are:
The president brought Barbara Walters a birthday basket with White House beer, M&Ms, Marine One deck of cards and a WH golf ball.”

November 6. Just six more weeks until November 6.

Update: U.S. post in Benghazi had less than standard security before attack. But it’s nobody’s fault. Just a “bump in the road.”
Update: “I’ve been told I’m just eye candy here.” HA HA HA HOW CHARMING
Update: “There’s no doubt that the kind of weapons that were used, the ongoing assault, that it wasn’t just a mob action.” Well, which is it, Barry?
