Bradley Cooper, the star of “The Hangover” and its sequel, told “Entertainment Tonight” on Monday that he wouldn’t rule out running for political office.

“I am a fan of politics,” Cooper said on the red carpet at the 16th-annual Hollywood Awards, on the same night of the final presidential debate.

“I don’t know,” he added, when asked about his own potential political ambitions. “I think it’s a very noble profession. Yeah.”

Cooper isn’t a stranger to the political scene.  He spent time in Washington, D.C. as a Georgetown University student, graduating in 1997. He is also an occasional visitor to the set of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
