Poll workers or pole workers — who are the real heroes? [SLIDESHOW]

This Election Day, poll workers will be an integral part of the democratic process as they process ballots and help voters understand how to fill in bubbles on a piece of paper like all the tests everyone took in high school.

Other types of pole workers, on the other hand, are tirelessly sliding up and down poles with incredible acrobatic ability to the enjoyment of many an American.

Both types of workers are completely necessary cogs in the machine of modern society. So who are the real heroes here? You decide.
