Vice President Joe Biden took time off from gaffing and vice presidenting to make a cameo on an episode of NBC’s “Parks and Recreation.”

The recently re-elected VP will appear in the beginning of the Nov. 15 episode, when two of the main characters go to the White House, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“Parks and Recreation” is a sitcom that essentially pokes fun at the inner workings of local government in a small, fictional Indiana town.

In the episode, Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) takes his fiancee Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) to the White House to meet Biden, who Knope has always had a crush on. Poehler’s character has said “Joe Biden is on my celebrity sex list — well, he is my celebrity sex list” and that her ideal man would have “the brains of George Clooney and the body of Joe Biden,” which certainly inflated the vice president’s ego to three times its normal size.

Biden’s cameo lasts about a minute and was filmed in July, when the cast and crew shot several other scenes based in Washington for this season. President Obama was likely pleased that Biden’s schedule that day consisted of filming a TV show rather than making publicly embarrassing statements.

Senators Barbara Boxer, Olympia Snowe, and John McCain have all made cameos on the series so far this season.
