Majority support elimination of Electoral College

In a poll by Scott Rasmussen, 56 percent of likely voters said they support the idea of scrapping the Electoral College and allowing the president of the United States to be elected on the basis of whichever candidate wins the popular vote. Only 25 percent are in favor keeping the Electoral College.
