On this weekend’s broadcast of “The Chris Matthews Show,” Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker suggested that Hillary Clinton might decide against running for president for no other reason than to spite her husband.
“I would not be surprised if Hillary does not run,” Parker said. “As we’ve all noted, she’s going to be 69 years old. … I think women have a better sense of priorities in life than men do, and I think she just may want to enjoy her life.”
“And there’s also this,” Parker added. “Who wants her to run more than anyone else? Big Bill [Clinton]. And maybe that’s her ultimate revenge.”
