Top 10: Hottest cheerleading squads of March Madness [SLIDESHOW]

Any good sports fan knows that behind every winning team is an energetic support system on the sidelines. They are the unsung heros of every college sport — they are the cheerleaders.

Cheerleaders are arguably the biggest factor on whether or not a given teams win. The harder the cheerleaders cheer, the better the teams play. ┬áIt’s science.

So maybe instead of focusing so much on dribbling and free throws, the coaches of the NCAA should invest a little bit more love in the cheerleaders.

The Daily Caller would like to pay tribute to the real winners of March Madness.
