Top 10: Hottest cheerleading squads of March Madness [SLIDESHOW]

Any good sports fan knows that behind every winning team is an energetic support system on the sidelines. They are the unsung heros of every college sport — they are the cheerleaders.

Cheerleaders are arguably the biggest factor on whether or not a given teams win. The harder the cheerleaders cheer, the better the teams play.  It’s science.

So maybe instead of focusing so much on dribbling and free throws, the coaches of the NCAA should invest a little bit more love in the cheerleaders.

The Daily Caller would like to pay tribute to the real winners of March Madness.
