“Parks and Recreation” actress Audrey Plaza pulled a Kanye West during Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards. (No, she did not get Kim Kardashian pregnant, but she did interrupt someone as they were receiving an award.)
The world’s least important awards ceremony was interrupted when Plaza walked on stage as Will Ferrell was giving the acceptance speech for his “Comedic Genius” award.
A probably-intoxicated Plaza silently walked onto the stage with a drink in hand, tried to grab the award out of Ferrell’s hands, then walked off the stage, dropping her drink on the way back to her seat.
The actress had the name of her upcoming film, “The To Do List,” painted across her chest as she pulled the awkward stunt.
Plaza was asked to leave by security. MTV said that the stunt was not planned, according to reliable news source MTV News.
The actress tweeted late Sunday night, “thanks for the advice @kanyewest went better than planned! #mtvmovieawards #chrisbosh #thesecret.”
