Of course, if the Colonies were still under British rule, Morgan wouldn’t have had anywhere else to flee when he overstayed his welcome in his own country. That almost might’ve been worth it.
Apparently that Fourth of July tweet wasn’t stupid enough for Morgan, because he followed up by desecrating an American flag:

But you can hardly blame Morgan for being such a jackass on Twitter. It’s the only way he can get people to pay attention to him, in the only venue where they still do. It’s not like anybody’s watching him on TV:
