Crazy Canadian dentist can’t just let it be

A self-described “crazy dentist” from Canada (where else?) plans to clone John Lennon using one of the late Beatles’ old teeth.

Dr. Michael Zuk purchased Lennon’s decaying tooth for a whopping $30,000 at an auction back in 2011. He originally bought the tooth to raise awareness for oral cancer, because for some reason a dead British rock star is the poster boy for dental health?

Now, Zuk will attempt to use the tooth to create another John Lennon.

“Many Beatles fans remember where they were when they heard John Lennon was shot. I hope they also live to hear the day he was given another chance,” Zuk wrote on his website.

Zuk will apparently work alongside American scientists to try and create another John Lennon.

“To potentially say I had a small part in bringing back one of Rock’s greatest stars would be mind-blowing,” Zuk said.
