Who did Weiner rear-end?

Font Size:

It’s been a busy month for the next mayor of New York, and with all that streaking around the city campaigning, eventually there was bound to be an accident. A car accident, that is, not another one involving his Twitter account.

Associated Press:

New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner has emerged unscathed from a minor car crash on a busy Manhattan highway.

Weiner’s spokeswoman says the car he was riding in was involved in a chain-reaction crash Saturday morning on the FDR Drive, which runs along the borough’s east side.

It wasn’t immediately clear where Weiner was headed or if he was on official business.

Does he really have “official business” anymore? Well, sounds like he wasn’t driving, so it doesn’t matter whether he had his phone or what he was doing with it.

So, where was Weiner’s car in relation to the other ones? The NY Post (of course) has a bit more, but it’s still vague:

The mayoral hopeful got into a three-car fender-bender yesterday morning on the FDR Drive, according to his spokeswoman and the Fire Department.

Let’s just go ahead and assume Weiner was sandwiched in the middle.
