CNN founder and noted womanizer Ted Turner loves stirring the pot. At the International Women’s Earth and Climate Summit in New York City, he decided it was too long since he had said something completely hair-brained about women and politics, Rare reports.
When moderator Sally Ranney said, “we have to get a lot more women into elected office,” Turner agreed. He said, “I suggested that men be barred from political office. They could do everything else, be president of universities, business leaders, but they just couldn’t serve in any elected position for 100 years.”
He’s proposed the same idea before in 2003 and 2006, according to Newsbusters. What a guy.
