James Woods: I’ll probably never work in that town again

Over the years, James Woods has given various hints that he’s not a liberal. But it wasn’t until he joined Twitter that he leaped right out of the conservative closet. He’s sick of what the Obama administration and its lackeys are doing to this beautiful country, and he’s not afraid to say so.

He joined Twitter last July, and within a week he was layin’ down the Woods. What first set him off? Rolling Stone‘s disgusting Jahar Tsarnaev cover.

WARNING: JAMES WOODS USES BAD WORDS SOMETIMES

Once he got done ripping on Wenner for glorifying that kid-killing terrorist, Woods really got on a roll: mocking Obama, condemning the left’s constant racebaiting, and other things I like to do too.

Then, realizing he had just revealed himself as an Enemy of the State:

Since then, Woods has been a prolific, highly articulate, and politically incorrect conservative voice on Twitter. Does he think it’ll hurt his career?

Well, yeah. Jessica Chasmar, Washington Times:

James Woods, the award-winning actor and outspoken conservative, said Tuesday night that he’s aware he may never work again in Hollywood because of his political views.

“This President is a true abomination. To have barricaded the WW2 vets, but allow illegal aliens privilege,” the 66-year-old Mr. Woods posted to Twitter, linking to a USA Today article…

“I don’t expect to work again. I think Barack Obama is a threat to the integrity and future of the Republic. My country first,” he responded.

I hope he’s wrong about not working again. Not just because he’s a great actor, and also because I’m terrified that if I cross him he’ll kill me, but because I don’t need yet another reason to hate Hollywood.

Hang in there, Mr. Woods. And look on the bright side: At least you’re not this guy…

Update: Another outspoken Hollywood conservative (and a close personal friend) weighs in.
