Mitt Romney is a Massachusetts man, but on Saturday he was sporting Ole Miss gear.
The former Republican presidential nominee spent the weekend in Oxford, Mississippi watching Ole Miss play Texas A&M in football.
Garrett Jackson, Romney’s former bodyman on the 2012 campaign and Ole Miss alum, tweeted a number of photos showing a relaxed-looking Romney tailgating on Ole Miss’s legendary Grove and even running into a former GOP primary competitor.
Despite Romney’s cheering, Texas A&M defeated Ole Miss 41 to 38.
Heartbreaking loss last night, but the Gov still had a great time visiting Ole Miss. pic.twitter.com/nJvl3ITm7W

So strange dropping the Gov off at the airport and not going with him. So glad he came to visit this weekend. pic.twitter.com/Zy8JgKPe4G
