How romantic (eye roll).

National Journal‘s national correspondent Ron Fournier had a very busy weekend celebrating the 30th anniversary of taking his wife out on their first date. On Sunday morning, he tweeted out the spray of red roses he gave his wife, resulting in a small sampling of oohs and ahhs from followers and several reactive tweets from him.

So now it’s time for Fournier to leave Twitter and spend the day with the wife he’s so grateful to have, right?

Well, wrong. Fournier proceeded to largely spend the entire day on Twitter, tweeting 27 times and retweeting 28 times. All important stuff, no doubt.

Happy Anniversary, indeed.
