During Sunday night’s game against the New York Islanders, a couple of Montreal Canadiens fans decided to do something about that reputation for being slightly more culturally sensitive than us boorish Americans.
One Canadiens fan was seen clearly sporting blackface, as well as a huge afro wig. There might be some way to explain this off if one of the team colors was black, but the Canadiens rock the red and blue.
Whatever the young man’s reasoning for the face paint, it’s safe to assume he caught enough flack to not ever do it again. Especially since one of the members of the team is P.K. Subban, who is black.
Also, sweet arm tat bro.
