An art and design student at the National University of Lugansk in Ukraine just designed the Manhattan Project of rubber-band weaponry — the Rubber Band Machine Gun.
Using a gatling-gun inspired design, Alex Shpetniy’s rubber-band-weapon-to-end-all-rubber-band wars has a 672-band ammo capacity and fires 14 shots-per-second at a distance of up to 26 feet.

Shpetniy is funding the project via Kickstarter with a goal of $5,000. He’s since raised $46,562 with 25 days left to go.
The first models will sell for $85 with the Fast Charger, which reloads the gun in a few minutes. After that, all you’ll need is two AA-batteries for the internal electric motor and one industrial-sized bag of ammunition.
