The actor reportedly proposed to his girlfriend, Amber Heard, over Christmas, but she only recently said yes, presumably after she weighed her current level of fame and financial situation, according to Us Weekly.
Depp and Heard met on the set of 2011’s “The Rum Diary” while Depp was still with his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two children, Vanessa Paradis, and Heard was with her girlfriend. Depp and Paradis separated in 2012 and soon after Depp and Heard went public.
They are sure to have a long and happy marriage.
