The Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl XLVIII in a staggering blowout of 43-8, with the Denver Broncos barely showing up to the game as they were continuously pummeled and were unable to score until the end of the third quarter.

The game began in favor of the Seahawks, when they got a safety in the first seven seconds. They continued to dominate with two field goals in the first quarter. Malcolm Smith intercepted and ran for 69 yards to score the second Seahawks touchdown in the second quarter.

Seahawk Percy Harvin started the third quarter with a 87 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The Broncos’ Demaryius Thomas caught a pass from Peyton Manning for a touchdown, but that was the only time they managed to get on the board.

Seattle drove the nail in the coffin with a 4th quarter touchdown pass from Wilson to Doug Baldwin.
