11 stars who died too young [SLIDESHOW]

The world was rocked on Super Bowl Sunday with the news of Philip Seymour Hoffman’s untimely death. At only 46, he would have undoubtedly contributed many more masterpieces to the world.

His death brings to mind other celebrities who were lost too soon, including James Dean, Heath Ledger and James Gandolfini.
