Trump-BuzzFeed war threatens to erupt Sunday on CNN

If you thought the war between BuzzFeed and billionaire real estate mogul and uniquely coiffed Donald Trump was dead, you’d be wrong. On Sunday, the ill feelings between the buzzy media outlet and the larger than life opinion machine may ignite all over again as BuzzFeed‘s McKay Coppins and Politico‘s Maggie Haberman are scheduled to speak to CNN “Reliable Sources” host Brian Stelter about the Buzzfeed profile on Trump and whether  Trump deserves the media attention he once received.

Speaking of media attention that he most recently received, Trump aide Sam Nunberg resigned (or was fired) for the profile of Trump that appeared in BuzzFeed, a publication that Trump puffed up to Coppins down in Palm Beach. He now calls BuzzFeed irrelevant. Coppins is now “dishonest” and a “slob.” In maybe the lowest blow, Coppins, a Mormon, was disinvited to Nunberg’s mother’s house for Shabbos dinner.

That this is happening on CNN is interesting enough, considering that Trump has appeared in The Situation Room countless of times with Wolf Blitzer, who can’t seem to get enough of Trump.

It’s a safe bet that Trump may have a reaction or two on Twitter.
