Eric Holder to introduce ‘How the Gun Won’ discussion at Sharpton convention

Attorney General Eric Holder will introduce panel with gun-control activists at Al Sharpton’s National Action (NAN) convention this week on “How the Gun Won.”

The “American Holsters” panel will take place April 9 at 11 AM on the Sheraton New York Times Square hotel’s third-floor New York ballroom. President Obama will headline the convention, which kicks off Wednesday and runs until Saturday.

Holder will deliver a special plenary presentation to kick off the panel “Gun Violence: American Holsters,” subtitled, “How the Gun Won: Discussion of the 2nd Amendment, Gun Policy & Violence in the USA.”

The panel, moderated by Sharpton, includes representatives from groups including NAN, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, Newton Action Alliance Board, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, The Ana Grace Project, The Ana Grace Project of Klingberg Family Centers, National United Youth Council, the Hadiya Pendleton Foundation and Street Corner Resources and the political director to Russell Simmons and editor of GlobalGrind.com.
