A gold medal won by a Team USA hockey player from the 1980 Olympic games is up for auction.

Mark Pavelich, a college kid when he helped the U.S. win against the USSR, is selling his medal from the “miracle on ice” game.

Pavelich says he’s not auctioning it off because he’s in dire financial straits, but rather because he wants to help out his kids. He’s auctioning it through Heritage Auctions, which will use both an online and email bidding system, Fox News reports.

The bidding for Pavelich’s medal will start at $62,500.

Only one other medal from the game has been sold. It went for $40,000 to a private buyer, which the buyer then auctioned off for $310,000 in 2010.
