Media Matters, Talking Points Memo, Daily Kos, and other really smart people do not like it when people like Dana Perino say things like this:
How dare she mock the very serious and settled science of global warming climate change by bringing up the phony scandal of Benghazi? There’s no such place, even! Just ask anybody on any street corner in America what “Benghazi” is, and you’ll get a blank look. Right-wingers made it up because they’re racist against Obama, whose dad was black.
Do not talk about Benghazi, all you meteorologists. Do not talk about Benghazi, everyone else in America. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter. You might think it matters, but it doesn’t. It’s unimportant. It’s not an issue. Nothingburger is another name for it.

Ask the survivors of Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods what they think and feel about this. They have what’s known as “absolute moral authority.” Do you seriously think they want the same answers you do?

This Benghazi sideshow is all just a desperate and pathetic attempt by you wingnuts to distract everyone from the popularity of the Affordable Care Act, the country’s robust GDP growth, President Obama’s deft handling of the crisis in Ukraine, the Democrats’ solid poll numbers headed into the midterm election, and all of this high-quality blotter acid I just ate.
