Now Ex-NFL player Aaron Hernandez has been indicted for a double homicide from back in 2012.

The former New England Patriots tight end was suspected in being involved with the deaths of Daniel Jorge Correia de Abreu and Safiro Teixeira Furtado when he was first charged with the murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, but now has been formally indicted.

The shooting of the two men occurred outside Cure nightclub in Boston in July 2012. Surveillance footage shows Hernandez and another man entering the club right after the victims did and almost immediately leaving.

Despite not having any reason to remain in the immediate area, Hernandez’s vehicle was seen passing by the victims twice when they left nearly two hours later. The one survivor in the shooting said an SUV pulled up next to their car and then opened fire, reports WCVB.

Hernandez was immediately dropped by the New England Patriots two days after being questioned in connection to the Odin Lloyd case. He pleaded not guilty, but was indicted for murder by a grand jury on August 22, 2013.
