Hillary Clinton played coy when asked on “The View” Friday whether she’ll be running for president, replying that “I am running … around the park!” [Cue rimshot]
Clinton surprised Barbara Walters during her last appearance as co-host of ABC’s “The View.”
“As long as you’re here, let me ask you a question,” Walters asked the prospective Democratic candidate for president in 2016.
“Oh, really?” said Clinton, feigning surprise as the crowd applauded.
“Well, the question I wanna ask is are you gonna run, but –” Walters continued.
“Well I am running,” the former secretary of state responded with a Cheshire grin. “Around the park!”
Uproarious laughter followed as the audience cheered and applauded, with Clinton looking quite pleased with herself.
The side-splitting joke serves a double purpose after rumors about Hillary’s poor health emerged this week. Rest assured, ladies: your fabulous future president is both hilarious and healthy!
