An email Bergdahl wrote to his parents shortly before his disappearance, reported in Rolling Stone in 2012, revealed frustration and intense anti-American sentiment: “The US army is the biggest joke the world has to laugh at. It is the army of liars, backstabbers, fools, and bullies…”

Obama clearly broke the law by releasing those prisoners from Gitmo without notifying Congress, but it’s easy to dismiss such pesky details by adding those two magic words: “Republicans say.”

The important thing is that nobody will be talking about the VA scandal for the next little while. Nobody will be talking about Benghazi. Nobody will be talking about Obamacare. Nobody will be talking about any of Obama’s other failures and lies. All because he’s done something that, apparently, he could’ve done at any time in the last 5 years. Given the right excuse, of course.

Probably. Why wouldn’t they be punished for embarrassing Obama? Up is down, wrong is right, honor is meaningless, and nothing is what it is.
