The woman who rocketed into the public spotlight for outing her maybe-lover as a racist was attacked in New York Sunday night in what may be a racially-motivated attack.

V. Stiviano, who had video of her spouting her own racial epithets surface on Saturday, was called the n-word and brutally beaten by two white men. (RELATED: V. Stiviano Makes Racist Remarks, Knew She Was Being Recorded)

Stiviano’s attorney Mac Nehorary told Radar that around 7 p.m., as she was leaving a hotel in New York City, “two white men descended on her. They were about 5’7″ and they knew exactly who she was. They began to hit her and called her the n-word. Other disgusting slurs were made against her. She was able to run away and several onlookers then began attempting to apprehend the two men.”

She has not filed a police report yet, but according to Nehorary, she was concerned about her safety. She is in New York to appear on Anderson Cooper 360 Monday night.

Sterling was forced to sell the Clippers for $2 billion to ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer after Sterling’s estranged wife Shelly arranged the sale.

Shelly believes her husband Donald to be mentally unfit, therefore making Sterling’s signature or involvement in the sale supposedly unnecessary.
