Google has acquired Skybox, a high-resolution satellite-imaging company to the tune of $500 million, according to a report by Gizmodo.
The company is sure to make Google Earth much clearer and provide live streaming services. Businesses and individuals can do things like monitor trucking supply chains, traffic patterns and airplane routes with the technology. Plus, it looks extremely cool and entertaining.
