What’s the first thing Orlando news reporter Jackie Orozco does when she’s investigating a murderous crime scene? Take a smiling Instagram. Obvi.
Orozco, who works for the Fox-owned station WOFL, took and posted a picture of her and her photographer grinning while at the scene of an Orange County double homicide.
She posted to Instagram with the caption, “So why are we smiling in front of a crime scene? Because we work in the news and it’s my Friday!”
She then added #ReporterProblems.
Her Tweet about the investigation was much more serious and said, “On the scene of double homicide. Deputies found 2men shot dead inside a car. Another live report coming up #fox35.”
Her Instagram account has since been deleted, but Orozco tweeted out a statement Monday saying, “The photo & caption I posted Sunday was insensitive and in poor taste. I apologize to anyone I offended.”
