Before a flight to L.A., flawless actress Amy Adams switched seats with a soldier so he could fly first class.

According to ABC News, before Adams’s flight from Detroit to Los Angeles took off, the star saw a soldier standing by the flight gate, and very quietly asked the airline to switch their seats so he could fly first class.

“I noticed Ms. Adams was in first class and as I was getting seated, I saw the flight attendant guide the soldier to Ms. Adams’ seat. She was no longer in it, but it was pretty clear that she’d given up her seat for him,” fellow passenger Jemele Hill said. “I was incredibly impressed, and I’m not even sure if the soldier knew who gave him that seat. I guess he will now.”

After the switch was made, the Oscar-nominated redhead, whose father was in the military, reportedly quietly met the soldier by the cockpit before she snuggled into her new seat in coach for the rest of the trip. (RELATED: Amy Adams, Everyone’s Favorite Sexy Redhead [SLIDESHOW])
