We don’t know what the recent trend of position players pitching means for the MLB, but we can definitely get behind it. Especially when one of those players is surprisingly only 34-year-old Adam Dunn of the Chicago White Sox.

Dunn, who’s more famous for punishing baseballs with his bat, was surprisingly effective in the 16-0 loss to the Texas Rangers Tuesday. Yeah, he gave up a run, but he also threw an 82 mph fastball because he doesn’t care what you think in the slightest. He’ll do it all (except get a hit in the same game).

Just look at the stat line in all its glory.
