Cubs’ Prospect Javy Baez Belts Home Run In First Ever Game [VIDEO]

The Cubs are back, baby! Obviously, Javier Baez, the team’s prized infield prospect who made his major league debut Tuesday night, is the second coming of Ryne Sandberg.

And what a debut it was. Baez hit a home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game against the Colorado Rockies. Smooth sailing from here on out Cubs fans. (RELATED: Cubs Catcher PITCHES After Game Stretches To 16 Innings)

Basically this means the Cubs are coming back from their 13-game deficit in the NL Central and taking it all. No one can tell me different.
