Republican Texas governor Rick Perry got his mugshot taken Tuesday.
Perry was indicted Friday on two felony counts for threatening to veto funding for a public ethics unit headed by a Democratic district attorney who was arrested for driving with a more than 0.23 blood alcohol content. Perry called the prosecution a “farce” and legal experts including Ted Cruz and Alan Dershowitz strongly agreed, not to mention thousands of social media users on the Twitter hashtag #StandWithRickPerry.
So did Perry’s enemies, including the George Soros-funded group that filed the complaint in his case, just give Perry’s supporters a new poster image (….for 2016?)

Perry showed that the hassle isn’t getting him down, grabbing an ice cream cone after the Travis County Courthouse photo shoot.
