‘Is Tony Soprano Dead?’ David Chase Finally Answers Fans

It’s been seven years since the finale of HBO’s “The Sopranos,” and series creator David Chase has finally answered whether the North Jersey mob boss is dead or alive.

The final scene of the series aired in June 2007, and ends ambiguously with him being neither killed or arrested. Inside a lengthy interview with Vox, Chase revealed the answer.

“I had been talking with Chase for a few years when I finally asked him whether Tony was dead.
