Several journalists wound up on Gawker‘s racist worst white men list today. Some are shocking. Others less so. Come on, Gawker. NationalReviewOnline‘s Benny Johnson, the sacrificial lamb who was recently fired from BuzzFeed for plagiarism while some of his plagiarizing colleagues remain, is #66. Politico‘s media writer Dylan Byers, who may not know that a lot of black people, including WaPo‘s Wesley Lowery, don’t work at Politico, rolls in way too high up at #7.
And ADOLF HITLER, who killed a couple of Jews, doesn’t make your list at all?
Other journos: Vox Media‘s Ezra Klein, smug, dorky and pretty nice, actually, is #55. ESPN’s Nate Silver, who hates Politico and Dylan Byers, is #75. And NBC “TODAY Show’s” Matt Lauer, who basically ruined Ann Curry‘s life and made the sweetest woman in TV news cry on air, comes in at #97.
