The National Rifle Association is spending millions this week on behalf of Republicans in three key Senate races.

About $4 million in NRA-sponsored ads will begin to air Wednesday in North Carolina on behalf of state Speaker of the House Thom Tillis, in Arkansas on behalf of Rep. Tom Cotton, and in Colorado on behalf of Rep. Cory Gardner, CNN reports.

“Our Second Amendment rights are under attack by the Obama administration, and we need leaders like Thom Tillis in the Senate to fight back,” says an ad for Tillis, who is battling Democrat Sen. Kay Hagan.

The NRA is spending $1.4 million in North Carolina and Arkansas, and about $1 million in Colorado, reports CNN.

Hagan is up about four points in North Carolina, according to the Real Clear Politics polling average. The Arkansas and Colorado races are both a toss-up, with Cotton only slightly ahead of Democratic Sen. Mark Pryor, and Democratic Sen. Mark Udall up three or four points in Colorado.

These three races are expected to determine whether Republicans win control of the Senate in November.
