Chalk Michelle Nunn’s campaign up as a group that isn’t terribly fond of Fox News.

Speaking to “Media Buzz” host Howard Kurtz, Fox News national correspondent John Roberts said that while most Democratic campaigns have been more than happy to speak with Fox, specifically those for Mary Landrieu and Mark Pryor, some have not been as accommodating .

Roberts told Kurtz that Michelle Nunn’s campaign has refused to speak with the network despite repeated requests since April.

“For some reason, the Nunn campaign just does not want to talk to Fox News, even though we have been reaching out to them in various ways since about the month of April,” said Roberts, noting they even went to her campaign headquarters in person to speak with someone without success. “That’s the way they’ve decided to run their campaign.”

Roberts, a Georgia native, was supposed to moderate a recent debate between Nunn and her GOP opponent David Perdue. However, Nunn’s campaign complained and ultimately had Roberts removed as the debate moderator.

“Despite my long track record of having worked for Fox, CNN prior to that, and CBS News before that for 14 years, they didn’t like the idea that someone from Fox would be moderating that debate, so out I went,” Roberts remarked.
